PADI Mermaid Lessons
PADI Mermaid Certifications are a terrific way to be safe and certified in the water. I will help you perfect your mermaid skills. We will work on the flow of your mermaid swim to make you performance ready, as well as focusing on water safety and how you can always be your safest in your mermaid tail. We also touch on fun things like bubble rings! The PADI Mermaid certification is for both professional Mermaids, looking to take it to the next level, and hobbyist Mers who just want to learn some new tricks and water safety. DISCOVER MERMAID
A great introduction into the world of mermaiding. This is for anyone who wants to know what it feels like to swim in a tail.
Overview
We will have a talk about mermaiding and water safety before getting in the water and learning how to put on a tail. We will cover the basics of breatholding and buddy up for some fun mermaid swim time.
Prerequisites
Must be at least 6 years old and comfortable in the water.
Equipment
A mask or swim goggles are needed. Mermaid tail, fin and all other gear will be provided.

PADI BASIC MERMAID
Learn the basics of what it takes to swim as a mermaid.The course covers mermaid diving's background and culture, primary safety considerations, equipment and basic water skills.
Overview
This certification starts off with some on land knowledge development. Once we have covered what you need to know we will slip into our tails for a confined water session.
Prerequisites
Must be at least 6 years old. Must be able to swim 25m and float for 3 minutes.
Equipment
A mask is needed. Mermaid tail, fin and all other gear will be provided.

PADI MERMAID
At the heart of the PADI Mermaid courses, this course will help you develop more dynamic mermaid skills beyond PADI Basic Mermaid, including many skills that make mermaiding an underwater self-expressive art, separate from other types of diving.
Overview
You will learn proper breathing techniques and warm ups, water entry, mermaid and buddy safety, weighting, and emergency procedures. As well as learning several beautiful performance style turns, tricks, and the secret to a bubble heart. The day will consist of both out of the water learning and 2 in water sessions.
Prerequisites
Must be at least 10 years old. Must be able to swim 50 meters and float for 5 minutes.
Equipment
A mask and monofin are needed. You may bring your own tail if you choose. If not one can be provided. Please request tail ahead of time.

4 - 6 hours

PADI ADVANCED MERMAID
This course is for those with a PADI Mermaid certification who want to dive deeper into their mermaid abilities. You will be taking your learned mermaid skills into the open water and learning how to handle a tail in all new situations as well as continueing to build upon many of the foundations in the PADI Mermaid certification.
Overview
We will review skills from your PADI Mermaid course and go on to learning aditional mermaid water entires, improving apnea, and rescuing unconscious divers. This also includes some fun poses and tricks for getting the perfect mermaid photo.
Prerequisites
Must be at least 12 years old. Must be able to swim 100 meters and float for 10 minutes. PADI Mermaid Certification.
Equipment
A mask and monofin are needed. You may bring your own tail if you choose. If not one can be provided. Please request tail ahead of time.
